well, tonite was the show. i prepared for months, i thought about it for even longer. it was fantastic, things were well. not perfect, but well. the people liked it, the people applauded like it was real talent, real entertainment or something. i think i got something across, a lot of layers of who i am. kelli was there, and she helped me (thank you so much dear girl) set up the truly DECADENT stage props. Let's just say you never seen this many fake flowers anywhere in one place, except in maybe a fake flower shop, which was exactly where i got them from.

Jim the old boss was there. (ps he's getting married in two weeks to my old painting teacher/mentor, Melissa). He said that the show got him in the mood to get married. I guess that's as good a compliment as any. And it was just so relieving, so fun to do. Such a journey. I'm so happy and worn out and already wondering where the next step is.

Then i was supposed to come to work tonite, and this was real drama because i tried all week to get this night off, and they said "no way" because the other dude i worked the shift with was gone for good.

Well now it turns out, he's here, and im sitting here at 2 in the morning when i could be home staying with my girl. Arggh. well, any way, i'm not staying here tonight. Just enough to write this entry and do some email. Yeah. computer stuff.

"Peaches and Cream" is on the R'n'B station. Oh sh*t, it is so funny and cliche, and somehow infectious at the same time...

"peaches and cream, you are so tasy, giiiirll, getting freaky in my limosine, ice cream!"

hahahaha. i love r'n'b.

Stevie Wonder started off my show. He rocks.

Also, just purchased a Madonna Encyclopedia on the street for a coupla bucks. it rocks...

"Who's that girl" is on the radio, but its not Madonna, its that new R'n'B version.

AAAh, yes, so the show is over, and i am happy. of course, there is another one tomorrow. But, that will be less difficult. Well, just as difficult, but more energy spent watching and listening to other people as we all Improvise.

Reggie had these 4" platform boots, that he tore the heel off of. So it was just the platform under his toes. It looked exactly like huge goat hooves. Which was beautiful. and he would do this fantastic dance that was close to him falling and breaking his ankles the whole time.

And the whole stage was a beautiful, lush garden of dew covered water lillies, roses, grape vines, ivy. And each seat had a single red rose for the audience members. Everyone was smelling the roses gently as they watched the show.

FANTASTIC! I'm going home now. Yeah!

Ps. someone actually compared me to Daniel Johnston. talk about Make me melt.
