today i feel like putting in an entry. its april fools day. i haven't written in months, and the last few time i did put in an entry, i would delete it by accident because i am so un used to this labtop. and it was exasperating to lose and lose again...

listening to the cure's kiss me kiss me kiss me for the first real time, maybe, where i give it space to actually be, and not interrupted by a 100 other things going on. there's always more music to listen to, that's for sure.

big what up to jake and thanks for the shirt and cds. i will send you a response as soon as i can,now that i think about it. maybe today will be my respond to jake day.

been working on and off, a week here, a a few days off. but it looks like soon i will need to find more work to supplement the unemployment checks that are no longer arriving in my mail box.

i will also cut off my traditional phone, since im almost never home, and the cell will take its rightful place as the daemon on my hip that has me at its beck and call.

i have been having personal yoga training sessions with a woman from long island. everyday, at noon, she teaches a class in the studio down the hall from mine. but up until now, i have been the only person attending (its still just getting started, the Word is working its way out), so its been pretty nice.

the long and short of it is that i alternate between rage and complacent acceptance of this war. I just heard the other day that half of the planes that were positioned to patrol and intercept possible attacks on the eastern seaboard were taken offline 3 days prior to september 11, 2001. Now why would that be?

oh, so i've been to two marches through manhattan since the invasion began, and a vigil at the Riverside Church last week. there were about 40 speakers, including Michael Moore, Danny Glick, Andre from my dinner w/ andre, poets, Tom Chapin, Pete Seeger - a good old folk singer- and tons of other amazing and empassioned people.

now 'just like heaven' has come on, and im going to turn this thing off for a while and enjoy an old song
