thanksgiving was yesterday. i stayed in nyc with my girlfriend and we cooked a massive dinner. we did a fine job on the turkey, it was probably the best, juciest that allowed it to cook easy and quick with no basting. it was stuffed nice and good. we made pumpkin pie, crust and everything, in her kitchen. i think we really impressed ourselves.

saw a movie: Streets of New York. actually wasn't that interesting. it was ok, but not super or anything.

listening to catpower, the covers album. its growing on me.

what else? well, its really cold here, i don't know about where you are, but its 30 degrees and windy. my ears almost fell off last night walking around.

saw the macy's thanksgiving parade yesterday. its so fabulous. the cavernous alleys of broadway are the perfect setting for huge floating cartoon characters to drift through. and kids love it. another reason to contest the idea that it's wrong to raise kids in new york.

all is well, i suppose.
