listening to good smooth and chewy Greg Brown, a cd that kelli let me borrow, and its good! late to work this evening, to find out that miguel and wai man were 'let go' in the name of security. Sure they both put in their notices to quit in the next few weeks. but the company here just said, well, today's your last day. just like that. no warning. after they both worked for over a year.

who's next? (me?) (just maybe)

ill be the happiest boy smiling down the street when im finally out of here. what will i do next? well, shit, better get my act together and find a job. the pappazon train maybe ending folks. i'll keep a ya posted

also:

just had the most wonderful dinner with kelli consisting of pesto spaghetti and salmon. made it all myself. she helped me shop, and we had the best time running through astoria looking for all the ingredients. to the friendly grocer for Pine Nuts. to the friendly baker (aren't they all?) for some Italian Bread. To the Veggie store for a huge bouquet of delectible goodies. Including somethings that ended up having nothing to do with our dinner, like sesame seed bars. And then the fish place (also a friendly place -- everybody is friendly in Astoria,! -- the real King of Queens) for the salmon. Yo!!! it was phat.

feeling good, will have been up for 24 hours at the end of this shift. ummmm,
