life is really strange and funny. i saw vinod tonite. the first thing i said to him, as he met me in line for the movies: "wow, your teeth are really white" just a little something i noticed, right? why did i say this? after he makes the trek all the way from new jersey to meet for movie and a dinner... its a joke, of course, me being flippant little me. and i know that sometimes it can be charming, or cool. yes, sometimes i am cool and debonair, and i kind of know it. however, its a mistake i make too often to take it too far... to be flippant one to many times. people don't like their emotions played with. or even their trust, or their schedules. if you say your going to be somewhere at a certain time, you should do your damndest to make it. this is what a friend does.

i go into my little act, which is sincere at first; but then later it brazenly drifts into insincerity, into blind cruelty. i never realize till its too late. arrgh.

ps. the movie was "yi yi". it was outstanding.
