well its morning here at the household. my parents, grandmother, and sister are here. pancakes are being made. Soon a friend from high school will pick me up to go play football. I see him now about once a year.

We used to be in a band together. We even did a few shows. He was Mr. Congeniality, a very friendly guy. He seemed to always have everything up front, forward. He was special like that.

so now like i said, pancakes are being made. the world is a very strange place here at home. I couldn't stay here for long, this i know. i just keep telling myself that yes, these people will not change their ways. they've got their way of living. like everyone.

What is nice is the way they are 'settled'. that is, though i may not be comfortable with the way they live their lives, i do respect the fact that they are at peace. they've found a way to get by. They've found a niche where everything seems to fit in its place. life goes on, and they are relatively happy. so that's good.

me? ... i'm going bald.

Have a happy thanksgiving everybody. Everyone is flipping out because i'm letting my pancakes get cold. So i guess i gotta go. love. d.
