bbc footage from 9/11/01, where upon the broadcasters tell us that the Salomon Building has collapsed, 23 minutes before it actually did. It's actually in the background of the reporter in New York, still standing, while she asserts its collapsed. this is WTC 7, where salomon smith barney had offices.

yeah, but i'm just crazy, right? don't listen to me, i've fallen off the wagon.

the performance was something I have worked on for the past two month, from the moment I returned to Richmond from winter break
I worked with musicians and singer/dancers to make a 15 minute musical. I wrote songs, choreographed it, made a mural in Sharpie drawings on the walls, and a sculpture of a chandelier that hung from the ceiling. there was a piano player, a slightly in tuned but super old piano, and a violinist. All in the name of art. I think it went well, lots of people came and we had a good time.
another guy in the class, James, pulled a stunt where he put himself in pillories in the middle of the town mall, (an outdoor mall) for 7 days, 24 hours a day. the only way he could get out is if someone took his place. I've been visiting him as i set up my part of the show, and he seems to have generated a whole lot of controversy/discussion/friendships by doing this over such an extended period.
tomorrow is mid term reviews, and i'm totally not worried about it, today was the most relaxing day in months, since my little show got pulled together

also, you should search youtube for "painting, excersizing, tv" . There's this guy who does a cable access show in LA where he's on a treadmill painting a picture, and making a smoothie. it had me in tears, laughing
