well its been hard to find a reason to put in entries into this diary. for one reason, i've been completely booked at work, and unable to Take the time to go into diaryland without ending up too late to get the pre-midnite bus home.

also, i've been so happy, so engaged in life, that there's no point in putting energy into a diary, when i'm living out my diary right here. in the present. making decisions, getting involved in projects that Matter, for the first time : Never have things weighed in so much, never have i acted so sincerely and so in step with my self. Although my obligations to the world around me are as high as ever, i've found a space where i care enough about what i'm doing in My time, to not mind doing things for other people, in Their time. (ie. work, making money, keeping promises, having conversations with people) all of these things are the joy of life, unreason-able, un-decipherable. and they make sense when you can just have that time to yourself Mean something.

so, in little less vague terms (if you have clung on long enough to my abstractions to read this far): Kelli is here in new york. and i am helping her float for a short while while she finds a place. In only a few short days, she has already acquired an apartment, ambitious and go-getting young dear that she is.

In other news, 'The Space' arts collective is engaged in a huge overhall, whereupon we are placing order where there was none before. and i have found myself at the top of the heap of folks. and i'm just anal enough to enjoy placing order on everything. oh, but i need help...

just got back from a big meeting where we sat and discussed how this 20,000 sq. feet was going to be used, and what needed to be done to nurture it, nay, to avoid getting shut down by the owner/donor.

and so we are preparing for a big show this sunday night, where we try to get people from the big Mermaid parade in brooklyn, and Moma's PS1 in Queens, to come out and check us out.

i'm putting myself in charge of projecting a black and white movie on this HUGE wall outside, right by the 59th street bridge ramps, And the N,R,7 trains passing by. so that's pretty fun.

and i'm overjoyed to find that there's nothing to do at work, so i can Actually get some sleep tonite.

overjoyed.

next week: exciting things such as: Cross-country driving to Utah.

later in the month: excitement builds as i (gasp!)

[long pause]
