hunger is in my belly and so i will soon be off to the pizza shop to do myself good. and im at the public library anyway, where i have signed up for 20 minutes of internet use.

my birthday came and passed. im 25. there was some light celebration. went out with scott and folks. drank a bit. played some chess. listened to music. shot pool. met a girl named amy who was also celebrating her birthday on the same day. then there was a song on the jukebox by sublime entitled "april 29", and i played it. i remarked at how ironic this was to this girl. but she was more interested in scoring some dope. whatev. so then the next day kelli arrived.

(geez this space bar on the keyboard is loud)

and kelli and i went around and played basketball in the wonderful spring sun. yes, now that i have a basketball, nearly all things are possible; anything can be fun. !

and it was lovely. she will be visiting again soon, i think, to look for a job and a place in

(dun - da - daaaah!)

"New York City!"

so that's good, and then there's the cat story. i took vinod's cat, since he left for india and no one was left to take the cat. i went to pick up some of his furniture, and there were his parents, painting the walls (how did he get Them to do that? - my parents surely wouldn't paint My apartment walls)

and his mom said to me "David, Take the Cat."

so what could i do? i took it, crying and mewling from new jersey all the way back to queens.

(with a brief prance through brooklyn, since i got a little lost, and made myself super late for dinner with jason/emily/logosfiend, for instance, may at this moment, be updating his flowery scribblings with yet more wonderful nearly understandible flights.

or p'rhaps kostrub will get drunk on darkness and turn on the machine in his studio to blah blah away
