wai man is listening to contemporary country hits. i am playing my own music to combat his, over the space of 4 cubicles. about 15 feet. Poor poor eric and miguel have to listen to both.

open mic last nite. this japanese girl shinobu and i played 'hero' by Mariah Carey. I played guitar, she sang. she's got a very well trained opera voice, so it blew the place away. and yeah, i play a pretty mean guitar too, so it was good. then this guy came up and told me the song was originally written by this song writer in the 70's (which i never knew!)

also: that same guy wants to make a movie in my studio. its pretty serious, with lights, and a huge script, and everything. its about a painter struggling, kind of like pollock, i guess.

walking through times square today, all the girlies were going crazy because Carson Daly appeared at the MTV window, and showed his pretty chops.
